Scott Woods leads the From the Fire team. He is an often described “recycled teenager” who loves to spread hope and share encouragement with anyone who will listen. Why? There is an epidemic of hopelessness in our world fueled by division, comparison, and a lack of confidence in our inherent value as individuals.
Scott is married to his high school sweetheart, a father to two amazing grown children, and an “adopted uncle” of more than 100 students whom he has had the pleasure of mentoring through collegiate programs at Clemson University.
He is a 3x entrepreneur who overcame his fear and opened his first business at age 45 after 8,030 days working as a CFO/COO, all while realizing his calling lay elsewhere.
His speaking career spans numerous stages and audiences from corporate events to youth conferences, on-campus activations, commencement addresses, and chapel services. He cannot help but share the hope that comes when we emerge From the Fire.

Bella is a senior Marketing major and Brand Communications minor at Clemson University. As the UI/UX Director for Cadency, Clemson’s student-led brand consulting agency, she’s worked with clients across industries to solve real-world business challenges. Her projects have ranged from rebranding The Village—a beloved South Carolina destination supporting 150+ small businesses—to leading creative direction on large-scale campaigns for global clients like Ally Bank.
Over the past few years, Bella’s travels through France, Italy, and Switzerland have deepened her passion for people and culture (and for good food). After earning her bachelor’s degree in May 2026, she plans to pursue Clemson’s Corporate MBA program, where she will have the opportunity to study at Oxford University for a portion of her coursework.
Whether collaborating with C-suite executives or connecting with locals abroad, Bella strives to create meaningful experiences and lead with purpose. Her heartbeat is to remind people that they matter—that they have a story worth telling. As part of From the Fire, she brings a fresh Gen Z perspective to the conversations shaping today’s culture, helping young adults rediscover hope, identity, and purpose beyond performance.
Grace’s academic foundation includes graduating from Furman University with a B.A. in Computer Science and minor in Data Analytics. Though, it’s beyond coursework and through immersive experience opportunities—such as cryptology studies in London and math-intensive coursework at Walt Disney World—that her love for being analytically-minded solidified.
At Furman, Grace was involved in Greek Life, the Computer Science Department, & the Codes, Art, and Puzzles Fellowship. Additionally, likewise to many Furman students, she enjoys learning about CliftonStrengths—with hers being Achiever, Developer, Positivity, Futuristic, and Harmony.
After graduating, Grace quickly discovered her passion for front-end development and design through her internship at University College Dublin in Ireland. Since then, she has been working with her mentor, Scarlett at Scarlett’s Web Inc., to expand her knowledge and skillset. Now, in Grace’s current role as Front-End Developer & Digital Media Strategist at Scarlett’s Web, she helps lead website development projects for a diverse client base, enhancing websites through WordPress and Squarespace, guiding clients on SEO improvements, and advising clients on social media trends.
